The Herrmann Brain Dominance Instrument (HBDI)

HOW DOES IT WORK?

The HBDITM is a 120-question diagnostic survey.  Your answers indicate your thinking style preference.  Scoring results are free of value judgement and cultural bias.  Because it is a self-analysis, most people immediately recognize their results as accurate.  You will receive a full color profile, an accompanying interpretation booklet that explains the profile and scores in detail, and a discussion of the implications your results have for business and personal life.

WHAT DO YOU GAIN?

Your personal thinking preferences influence your communication, decision-making, problem solving, and management styles.  Understanding the implications of  your thinking preference is like an awakening — where the obstacles to your goals are dismantled and the ladders to your growth are infinite.

NOT JUST ANOTHER ASSESSMENT TOOL

Twenty years of research and innovation stand behind the validity of the HBDITM.  It has been the subject of independent validations, dissertations, and scientific papers. A summary of HBDITM  discussions can be found in The Creative Brain, by Ned Herrmann, founder of The HBDITM and Herrmann International.

The HBDITM picks up where other assessment tools leave off.  Identifying your thinking style is just phase one.  Where most assessments end with a single findings report, the HBDITM offers a valuable range of applications.

Apply the HBDI to Your Understanding Of:

· Self

· Mental Diversity—turn differences into advantages

· Learning & teaching styles in yourself and in others

· Management styles and how they effect others

· Communication — to improve interaction with others; individually, in teams, and in large groups

· Relationships and developing effective teams

· Colleagues, superiors and subordinates

· Creativity as a natural mental resource and how to build an environment in which it thrives

· Enhanced creativity and innovation

What our clients are saying about our “Thinking Styles” Workshops!

·
Probably the best and most useful workshop I’ve had in 12 years at SRP.  Materials and presentation were excellent.  All information was substantive, interesting and useful.

· Great mix of knowledge, fun, handouts, teamwork and interaction.  The day passed by quickly.  Great presentation skills.

· Therese Grayson is an excellent presenter, easy to be comfortable with and does not pressure people to say something/interact.

· Diversity of presentation and interactive activities were excellent.  Never lost my attention.

· I learned about the whole brain model and how to use it to improve my personal and professional life.

· Very informative, interesting, fun session.  Enjoyable presenter and I liked the “real life” examples.

· Thoroughly enjoyed the day.  Your sharing of your life experiences personalized the material nicely.

· The results of the HBDI survey helped me better understand the “why” of my feelings and actions.

· This is one of the few workshops I have attended where I did not become fatigued or sleepy.  It was great from start to finish.  The day went too fast!

· Generally I dread workshops because they seem to go on forever with little new content.  This one was a wonderful exception!  Thank you.
